व्रणिनः सम्प्रतप्तस्य कारणैरेवमादिभिः । क्षीणशोणितमांसस्य भुक्तं सम्यङ्न जीर्यति ॥२१॥
For a patient with an ulcer who is currently suffering, consuming food that is properly digested and has been prepared according to the causes of their condition will be beneficial, especially if their blood and flesh have been weakened.

व्रणित (अल्सर वाले) मरीज के लिए, जो वर्तमान में पीड़ित है, ऐसा भोजन जिसे उचित ढंग से पचाया गया हो और जो उनकी स्थिति के कारणों के अनुसार तैयार किया गया हो, फायदेमंद होगा, खासकर यदि उनका रक्त और मांस कमजोर हो।

Always, the patient should be under the care of a humble and pure individual, dressed in white garments, who maintains peace and is dedicated to deities, Brahmins, and teachers. The reason for this is that harmful entities, such as fierce beings and spirits, which are attracted to blood and flesh, might approach the patient due to their wounds, either out of malice or for honoring them.

Those who are satisfied and content will not cause harm. Therefore, one should continuously live in a well-decorated house, surrounded by people, and listen to auspicious and pleasant stories, while maintaining a setup with lamps, water, weapons, garlands, and flowers.
