A person who listens to stories that are in harmony with their prosperity, and who is cheerful and hopeful, will quickly attain relief from illness and find happiness.

The teachings of the Vedas (Rig, Yajur, Sama, Atharva) and other blessings, as well as rituals performed by learned practitioners and physicians, can provide protection and healing during times of need.

For protection and healing, one should perform incense offerings using mustard seeds, fresh leaves, ghee, and salt for two days and nights, remaining vigilant and attentive throughout.

छत्रामतिच्छत्रां लाङ्गू(ङ्ग)लीं जटिलां ब्रह्मचारिणीं लक्ष्मीं गुहामतिगुहां वचामतिविषां शतवीर्यां सहस्रवीर्यां सिद्धार्थकांश्च शिरसा धारयेत् ||२९||

One should hold in reverence and offer salutations to the following deities with a thousand and ten thousand qualities: the deity with the umbrella (Chhatra), the one who is beyond the umbrella (Atichhatra), the long-haired and ascetic (Languli), the goddess of wealth (Lakshmi), the deity of secrecy (Guha), the one who is beyond the cave (Atiguha), the one with potent speech (Vacha), and those with a hundred and a thousand powers (Shatavirya and Sahasravirya), as well as the one who has attained Siddhi.

व्यज्येत बालव्यजनैर्व्रणं न च विघट्टयेत् | न तुदेन्न च कण्डूयेच्छयानः परिपालयेत् ||३०||

The wound should be covered with a fresh cloth and should not be disturbed. It should not be scratched or irritated, and the patient should be kept comfortable and well-cared-for.

व्रण (घाव) को ताजे कपड़े से ढकना चाहिए और इसे परेशान नहीं करना चाहिए। इसे खरोंचने या उत्तेजित करने से बचना चाहिए, और मरीज को आरामदायक और अच्छी देखभाल में रखना चाहिए।
