In that case, the symptoms observed are as follows: When the Ama is cut off, the swelling involves the flesh, veins, joints, and bones. It may cause excessive bleeding, pain, and various complications, or lead to a condition resembling an ulcerated abscess. If a physician, fearing and being deluded, neglects a disease, thinking it to be either mature or immature, the swelling may progress to a serious stage. Eventually, pus may form, creating a large cavity that becomes difficult to treat.
