वातादृते नास्ति रुजा न पाकः पित्तादृते नास्ति कफाच्च पूयः । तस्मात् समस्तान् परिपाककाले पचन्ति शोफांस्त्रय एव दोषाः ॥७॥

Without Vata, there is no pain or ripening. Without Pitta, there is no suppuration. Without Kapha, there is no pus. Therefore, all swellings ripen due to the action of the three doshas.

english translation

वात के बिना न तो दर्द होता है और न ही पकने की प्रक्रिया होती है। पित्त के बिना पूय नहीं बनता। कफ के बिना पूय नहीं होता। इसलिए, सभी सूजनें तीनों दोषों के प्रभाव से पकती हैं।
