दोषः प्रकुपितो धातून् क्षपयत्यात्मतेजसा | इद्धः स्वतेजसा वह्निरुखागतमिवोदकम् ||३६||

When the doshas are aggravated, they deplete the dhatus (tissues) with their inherent energy. Just as fire, when lit, consumes water with its own heat, aggravated doshas consume the dhatus with their intrinsic energy.

english translation

जब दोष उत्तेजित होते हैं, तो वे अपनी स्वाभाविक ऊर्जा से धातुओं (ऊतकों) को क्षीण कर देते हैं। जैसे आग, जब प्रज्वलित होती है, तो अपनी गर्मी से पानी को भस्म कर देती है, वैसे ही उत्तेजित दोष अपनी अंतर्निहित ऊर्जा से धातुओं को खा जाते हैं।

वैलक्षण्याच्छरीराणामस्थायित्वात्तथैव च | दोषधातुमलानां तु परिमाणं न विद्यते ||३७||

Due to their distinct nature and the stability of the body, the size and extent of the doshas, dhatus, and malas (waste products) are not fixed. They vary according to individual conditions and are not constant.

उनकी विशेष प्रकृति और शरीर की स्थिरता के कारण, दोषों, धातुओं और मल (अपशिष्ट उत्पाद) का आकार और मात्रा निश्चित नहीं होती। ये व्यक्ति की स्थिति के अनुसार बदलते रहते हैं और स्थिर नहीं होते।

The physician should protect the health of a healthy person and, in case of illness, intelligently manage and rectify the imbalances of doshas, dhatus, and malas. This management is essential until the condition of health is restored, indicating the balance and well-being.

चिकित्सक को स्वस्थ व्यक्ति की रक्षा करनी चाहिए और अस्वस्थता की स्थिति में, बुद्धिमानी से दोषों, धातुओं और मल का असंतुलन सुधारना चाहिए। यह प्रबंधन तब तक आवश्यक है जब तक स्वास्थ्य की स्थिति बहाल न हो जाए, जो संतुलन और भलाई को सूचित करता है।
