शौचमास्तिक्यमभ्यासो वेदेषु गुरुपूजनम् । प्रियातिथित्वमिज्या च ब्रह्मकायस्य लक्षणम् ॥८१॥
Purity, steadfastness, regular practice, worship of the guru, hospitality towards dear guests, and the performance of rituals are the characteristics of the Brahman.
