People with a predominance of the phlegmatic constitution are compared to beings like Brahma, Rudra, Indra, Varuna, lions, horses, elephants, and bulls, as well as to the celestial beings like Garuda and swans.

कफ प्रकृति वाले लोग ब्रह्मा, रुद्र, इन्द्र, वरुण, सिंह, घोड़े, हाथी और बैल, साथ ही गरुड़ और हंस जैसे दिव्य प्राणियों के समान होते हैं।

Some describe the nature of humans as being composed of earth, fire, and water. Those are the three types: the one with a stable and broad body, the earthly one with strength, and the pure one who lives long, sustained by the great skies.
