पूर्वदेहानुभूतांस्तु भूतात्मा स्वपतः प्रभुः । रजोयुक्तेन मनसा गृह्णात्यर्थाञ् शुभाशुभान् ॥३६॥
The soul, which has previously experienced different bodies, seizes the auspicious and inauspicious desires through the mind influenced by rajas during sleep.
