ततो दशमेऽहनि मातापितरौ कृतमङ्गलकौतुकौ स्वस्तिवाचनं कृत्वा नाम कुर्यातां यदभिप्रेतं नक्षत्रनाम वा ॥२४॥
Then, on the tenth day, after the parents perform auspicious rituals and ceremonies, they should conduct the Swastivachana (a blessing ceremony) and give the child a name, either one of their choice or based on the constellation.

फिर दसवें दिन माता-पिता मंगला और उत्सव की विधि संपन्न कर, स्वस्तिवाचन (आशीर्वाद की विधि) करके बच्चे का नामकरण करें, जो उनकी इच्छा अनुसार हो या नक्षत्र के आधार पर।
