Sushruta Samhita
यतोऽभिहितं- “तत्सम्भवद्रव्यसमूहो भूतादिरुक्तः” (सू-१); भौतिकानि चेन्द्रियाण्यायुर्वेदे वर्ण्यन्ते, तथेन्द्रियार्थाः ॥१४॥
From which it is stated: "The collection of substances that arise from that is described as the elements" (Sū. 1); the physical senses are described in Ayurveda, as are the sense objects.

जिससे कहा गया है: "उससे उत्पन्न पदार्थों का समूह तत्वों के रूप में वर्णित है" (सू. १); भौतिक इन्द्रियाँ आयुर्वेद में वर्णित हैं, जैसे कि इन्द्रियार्थ भी।
