The condition known as "Kilasa" is indeed a type of Kushtha, classified into three types: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. The primary difference between Kushtha and Kilasa is that Kilasa is located within the skin and is non-dischargeable. - Vata causes a dry, red, and rough appearance, - Pitta presents as a lotus-like structure with burning sensations, - Kapha results in a white, smooth, and abundant condition resembling Kandu. Among these, the associated structures may exhibit red hair, and conditions that are difficult to treat may also appear burned by fire.
