स्नेहसात्म्यः क्लेशसहः काले नात्युष्णशीतले । अच्छमेव पिबेत् स्नेहमच्छपानं हि पूजितम् ॥२१॥
A person should drink the oil preparations, which are pleasing and revered, in moderation and at a suitable temperature, neither too hot nor too cold.

व्यक्ति को तेल से बने पदार्थों को, जो सुखदायक और पूजनीय हैं, संयमित मात्रा में और उचित तापमान पर पीना चाहिए, न अधिक गर्म और न अधिक ठंडा।

hk transliteration by Sanscriptशीतकाले दिवा स्नेहमुष्णकाले पिबेन्निशि । वातपित्ताधिको रात्रौ वातश्लेष्माधिको दिवा ॥२२॥
In winter, one should drink oil preparations during the day, and at night, when there is an increase of wind and bile. Conversely, during the day, when there is an increase of wind and phlegm, one should drink the preparations at night.

शीत ऋतु में दिन में तथा रात्रि में जब वायु और पित्त की वृद्धि हो, तब तेल पीना चाहिए। इसके विपरीत दिन में जब वायु और कफ की वृद्धि हो, तब रात्रि में तेल पीना चाहिए।

In conditions of excessive wind and bile, warmth can cause fainting, dizziness, and madness. In cold conditions, it can lead to symptoms like heaviness, loss of appetite, and abdominal pain due to wind and phlegm.

अत्यधिक वायु और पित्त की स्थिति में गर्मी के कारण बेहोशी, चक्कर आना और पागलपन जैसी समस्या हो सकती है। ठंड की स्थिति में वायु और कफ के कारण भारीपन, भूख न लगना और पेट में दर्द जैसे लक्षण हो सकते हैं।

If a person who has consumed oil feels thirsty, he should drink warm water. In this way, if the oil has been digested, he will vomit it out along with the warm water.

अगर तेल खाने वाले व्यक्ति को प्यास लगे तो उसे गर्म पानी पीना चाहिए। इससे अगर तेल पच गया है तो वह गर्म पानी के साथ ही उल्टी करके बाहर निकल जाएगा।
