साध्या विसर्पास्त्रय आदितो ये न सन्निपातक्षतजौ हि साध्यौ । साध्येषु तत्पथ्यगणैर्विदध्याद्धृतानि सेकांश्च तथोपदेहान् ॥३॥
"The three types of erysipelas at the beginning are curable, but those caused by a combination of doshas or trauma are not curable. For curable cases, one should administer ghee, decoctions, and poultices made from appropriate groups of herbs."

"प्रारंभ में तीन प्रकार के विसर्प साध्य होते हैं, लेकिन सन्निपात या चोट से उत्पन्न विसर्प साध्य नहीं होते। साध्य रोगों में उचित औषधियों के समूहों से बने घृत, सेक और लेप का उपयोग करना चाहिए।"

मुस्ताशताह्वासुरदारुकुष्ठवाराहिकुस्तुम्बुरुकृष्णगन्धाः । वातात्मके चोष्णगणाः प्रयोज्याः सेकेषु लेपेषु तथा शृतेषु ॥४॥
"In cases of erysipelas caused by vata, the use of hot groups of herbs like musta, shatahva, suradaru, kushta, varahi, kustumburu, and krishnagandha should be applied in poultices, decoctions, and for external treatments."

"वात के कारण होने वाले एरिसिपेलस के मामलों में, मुस्ता, शतहवा, सुरदारु, कुष्ठ, वाराही, कुस्तुम्बुरु और कृष्णगंधा जैसी जड़ी-बूटियों के गर्म समूहों का उपयोग सेक, काढ़े और बाहरी उपचार के लिए किया जाना चाहिए।"
