सा मात्रा दीपयत्यग्निमल्पदोषे च पूजिता । या मात्रा परिजीर्येत तथाऽर्धदिवसे गते ॥२६॥
That quantity kindles the fire and is worshipped when there is little dosha; if it decreases to one half during the day, it should be replenished.
english translation
यह मात्रा अग्नि को प्रज्वलित करती है तथा जब दोष कम होता है, तो इसकी पूजा की जाती है; यदि दिन में यह घटकर आधा रह जाए, तो इसकी पूर्ति कर देनी चाहिए।

sA mAtrA dIpayatyagnimalpadoSe ca pUjitA । yA mAtrA parijIryeta tathA'rdhadivase gate ॥26॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसा वृष्या बृंहणी या च मध्यदोषे च पूजिता । या मात्रा परिजीर्येत चतुर्भागावशेषिते ॥२७॥
That quantity is rejuvenating and nourishing, and it is worshipped when there is a balance of doshas; if it decreases to one fourth, it should be replenished.

वह मात्रा कायाकल्प करने वाली और पुष्टि देने वाली होती है, और दोषों के संतुलन होने पर इसकी पूजा की जाती है; यदि यह घटकर एक चौथाई रह जाए, तो इसकी पूर्ति कर देनी चाहिए।

sA vRSyA bRMhaNI yA ca madhyadoSe ca pUjitA । yA mAtrA parijIryeta caturbhAgAvazeSite ॥27॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस्नेहनीया च सा मात्रा बहुदोषे च पूजिता । या मात्रा परिजीर्येत्तु तथा परिणतेऽहनि ॥२८॥
That quantity is effective for nourishing and is worshipped in the presence of multiple doshas; if it decreases, it should be replenished by the evening.

यह मात्रा पोषण के लिए प्रभावी है और एकाधिक दोषों की उपस्थिति में इसकी पूजा की जाती है; यदि यह कम हो जाती है, तो शाम तक इसकी पूर्ति कर लेनी चाहिए।

snehanIyA ca sA mAtrA bahudoSe ca pUjitA । yA mAtrA parijIryettu tathA pariNate'hani ॥28॥

That quantity should be worshipped, which, leaving behind weakness and fainting, is not disturbed day and night and is reduced appropriately.

उस मात्रा की उपासना करनी चाहिए, जो दुर्बलता और बेहोशी को छोड़कर दिन-रात विचलित न हो तथा उचित रूप से कम होती जाए।

hk transliteration by Sanscriptसा तु कुष्ठविषोन्मादग्रहापस्मारनाशिनी । यथाग्नि प्रथमां मात्रां पाययेत विचक्षणः ॥३०॥
That quantity indeed destroys leprosy, insanity, convulsions, and epilepsy. The wise person should consume it first, like fire.
