One who desires intelligence and longevity should take the fruits of white Valguja, dry them under the sun, make a fine powder, mix it with jaggery, and store it in an oil-laden pot. Place it in a heap of grains for seven nights. After seven days, prepare a purified bolus according to one's strength and consume it before sunrise, drinking warm water afterwards. Follow the guidelines for Bhallataka intake while entering the house. After digestion, in the evening, bathe in cold water and consume rice made from Shali and Shashtika with milk, sweetened with sugar. By following this regimen for six months, one becomes free from sins, gains strength, complexion, memory, and remains disease-free with a lifespan of a hundred years. A person suffering from leprosy, anemia, or abdominal disease should take a half-pala bolus mixed in black cow's urine at sunrise on an empty stomach. In the evening, have a meal with a soup made of non-salty Amla and ghee. After consuming it for a month, one becomes disease-free, gains memory, and lives for a hundred years. This regimen also applies to the root of Chitraka and turmeric at night. For Chitraka root, a bolus of two palas is recommended, while the rest of the method remains the same.

A purified person, upon entering his residence with appropriate food, should take the juice of Mandukaparni and perform a thousand oblations. Mix it with milk according to one's capacity and drink it, or use milk as an after-drink. Once digested, one should consume barley food with milk. Alternatively, eat with sesame seeds for three months along with milk, and once digested, consume milk, ghee, and rice as a meal. Following this regimen, one attains Brahmic brilliance, improved memory, and a lifespan of a hundred years. After fasting for three nights, consume this for three more nights, and then start taking milk and ghee after the third night. Alternatively, take a bolus the size of a Bilva fruit mixed with milk. By following this for twelve nights, a wise person attains a lifespan of a hundred years.

A person purified of ailments, upon entering his residence, should take the juice of Brahmi along with appropriate food, prepared with a thousand oblations. Consume it according to one's capacity. After digestion, drink salted Yavagu in the afternoon, or, if compatible, eat with milk. Consuming this for seven days grants divine brilliance and wisdom. By continuing for a second set of seven days, it generates the desired knowledge and restores lost understanding. On the third set of seven days, one can recall even a hundred verses after hearing them twice. Consuming it for 21 days removes all misfortune; the goddess of speech enters him, and all knowledge attends to him. Such a person becomes a master of scriptures and attains a lifespan of five hundred years.
