King Indra said: In the womb of this woman, the wife of the demon Hiraṇyakaśipu, is the seed of that great demon. Therefore, let her remain in our custody until her child is delivered, and then we shall release her. ।। 7-7-9 ।।

राजा इन्द्र ने कहा : इस असुरपत्नी के गर्भ में उस असुर हिरण्यकशिपु का वीर्य है। अतएव इसे तब तक हमारे संरक्षण में रहने दें जब तक बच्चा उत्पन्न नहीं हो जाता। तब हम इसे छोड़ देंगे। ।। ७-७-९ ।।
