नारद उवाच एतावद्ब्राह्मणायोक्त्वा विरराम महामतिः । तं निर्भर्त्स्याथ कुपितः सुदीनो राजसेवकः ॥ ७-५-१५ ॥
The great saint Nārada Muni continued: The great soul Prahlāda Mahārāja became silent after saying this to his teachers, Ṣaṇḍa and Amarka, the seminal sons of Śukrācārya. These so-called brāhmaṇas then became angry at him. Because they were servants of Hiraṇyakaśipu, they were very sorry, and to chastise Prahlāda Mahārāja they spoke as follows. ॥ 7-5-15 ॥
english translation
श्री नारद महामुनि ने आगे कहा : शुक्राचार्य के पुत्रों अर्थात् अपने शिक्षकों षण्ड तथा अमर्क से यह कहने के बाद महात्मा प्रह्लाद महाराज मौन हो गये। तब ये तथाकथित ब्राह्मण उन पर क्रुद्ध हुए। चूँकि वे हिरण्यकशिपु के दास थे अतएव वे अत्यन्त दुखी थे। वे प्रह्लाद महाराज की भर्त्सना करने के लिए इस प्रकार बोले। ॥ ७-५-१५ ॥
