ज्ञातमेतस्य दौरात्म्यं दैतेयापसदस्य च । तस्य शान्तिं करिष्यामि कालं तावत्प्रतीक्षत ॥ ७-४-२६ ॥
I know all about the activities of Hiraṇyakaśipu and shall surely stop them very soon. Please wait patiently until that time. ॥ 7-4-26 ॥

मैं हिरण्यकशिपु के कार्यकलापों से परिचित हूँ और मैं उन्हें शीघ्र ही रोक दूँगा। तब तक तुम मेरी धैर्यपूर्वक प्रतीक्षा करो। ॥ ७-४-२६ ॥

यदा देवेषु वेदेषु गोषु विप्रेषु साधुषु । धर्मे मयि च विद्वेषः स वा आशु विनश्यति ॥ ७-४-२७ ॥
When one is envious of the demigods, who represent the Supreme Personality of Godhead, of the Vedas, which give all knowledge, of the cows, brāhmaṇas, Vaiṣṇavas and religious principles, and ultimately of Me, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, he and his civilization will be vanquished without delay. ॥ 7-4-27 ॥

जब कोई व्यक्ति भगवान् के प्रतिनिधि देवताओं, समस्त ज्ञान के दाता वेदों, गायों, ब्राह्मणों, वैष्णवों, धार्मिक सिद्धान्तों तथा अन्तत: मुझ भगवान् से ईर्ष्या करता है, तो वह तथा उसकी सभ्यता दोनों अविलम्ब नष्ट हो जाएंगी। ॥ ७-४-२७ ॥

निर्वैराय प्रशान्ताय स्वसुताय महात्मने । प्रह्लादाय यदा द्रुह्येद्धनिष्येऽपि वरोर्जितम् ॥ ७-४-२८ ॥
When Hiraṇyakaśipu teases the great devotee Prahlāda, his own son, who is peaceful and sober and who has no enemy, I shall kill Hiraṇyakaśipu immediately, despite the benedictions of Brahmā. ॥ 7-4-28 ॥
english translation
जब हिरण्यकशिपु अपने ही पुत्र परम भक्त प्रह्लाद को सतायेगा, जो अत्यन्त शान्त, गम्भीर तथा शत्रुरहित है, तो मैं ब्रह्मा के समस्त वरों के होते हुए भी उसका तुरन्त ही वध कर दूँगा। ॥ ७-४-२८ ॥

नारद उवाच इत्युक्ता लोकगुरुणा तं प्रणम्य दिवौकसः । न्यवर्तन्त गतोद्वेगा मेनिरे चासुरं हतम् ॥ ७-४-२९ ॥
The great saint Nārada Muni continued: When the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the spiritual master of everyone, thus reassured all the demigods living in the heavenly planets, they offered their respectful obeisances unto Him and returned, confident that the demon Hiraṇyakaśipu was now practically dead. ॥ 7-4-29 ॥
english translation
परम साधु नारद मुनि ने आगे कहा : जब सबों के गुरु भगवान् ने स्वर्ग में रहने वाले सभी देवताओं को इस तरह आश्वस्त कर दिया तो उन सबों ने उन्हें प्रणाम किया और विश्वस्त होकर लौट आये कि अब तो हिरण्यकशिपु एक तरह से मर चुका है। ॥ ७-४-२९ ॥

तस्य दैत्यपतेः पुत्राश्चत्वारः परमाद्भुताः । प्रह्लादोऽभून्महांस्तेषां गुणैर्महदुपासकः ॥ ७-४-३० ॥
Hiraṇyakaśipu had four wonderful, well-qualified sons, of whom the one named Prahlāda was the best. Indeed, Prahlāda was a reservoir of all transcendental qualities because he was an unalloyed devotee of the Personality of Godhead. ॥ 7-4-30 ॥

हिरण्यकशिपु के चार अद्भुत सुयोग्य पुत्र थे जिसमें से प्रह्लाद नामक पुत्र सर्वश्रेष्ठ था। निस्सन्देह प्रह्लाद समस्त दिव्य गुणों की खान थे, क्योंकि वे भगवान् के अनन्य भक्त थे। ॥ ७-४-३० ॥
