सन्तुष्टस्य निरीहस्य स्वात्मारामस्य यत्सुखम् । कुतस्तत्कामलोभेन धावतोऽर्थेहया दिशः ।। ७-१५-१६ ‌।।

sanskrit

One who is content and satisfied and who links his activities with the Supreme Personality of Godhead residing in everyone’s heart enjoys transcendental happiness without endeavoring for his livelihood. Where is such happiness for a materialistic man who is impelled by lust and greed and who therefore wanders in all directions with a desire to accumulate wealth? ।। 7-15-16 ।।

english translation

जो आत्मतुष्ट है और अपने कर्मों को प्रत्येक हृदय में निवास करने वाले भगवान् से जोड़ता है, वह अपनी जीविका के लिए चेष्टा किये बिना दिव्य सुख भोगता है। भला उस भौतिकतावादी के लिए ऐसा सुख कहाँ जो विषय तथा लोभ से प्रेरित रहता है और जो धन जोडऩे की इच्छा से सभी दिशाओं में भागता रहता है? ।। ७-१५-१६ ।।
