वर्जयेत्प्रमदागाथामगृहस्थो बृहद्व्रतः । इन्द्रियाणि प्रमाथीनि हरन्त्यपि यतेर्मनः ॥ ७-१२-७ ॥

sanskrit

A brahmacārī, or one who has not accepted the gṛhastha-āśrama ॥ family life॥, must rigidly avoid talking with women or about women, for the senses are so powerful that they may agitate even the mind of a sannyāsī, a member of the renounced order of life. ॥ 7-12-7 ॥

english translation

ब्रह्मचारी या अगृहस्थ को स्त्रियों से बातें करने या उनके विषय में बातें करने से दृढ़तापूर्वक बचना चाहिए, क्योंकि इन्द्रियाँ इतनी प्रबल होती हैं कि वे संन्यासी के मन को भी विचलित कर सकती हैं। ॥ ७-१२-७ ॥
