ततस्ते सेश्वरा लोका उपासाद्येश्वरं विभो । त्राहि नस्तावकान् देव विनष्टांस्त्रिपुरालयैः ।। ७-१०-५६ ।।

Thereafter, when the demons had begun to destroy the higher planetary systems, the rulers of those planets went to Lord Śiva, fully surrendered unto him and said: Dear Lord, we demigods living in the three worlds are about to be vanquished. We are your followers. Kindly save us. ।। 7-10-56 ।।

english translation

तत्पश्चात् जब असुरगण स्वर्गलोकों को तहस-नहस करने लगे तो उन लोकों के शासक शिवजी की शरण में आये और उन्होंने कहा—हे प्रभु, हम तीन लोकों के वासी देवता विनष्ट होने वाले हैं। हम आपके अनुयायी हैं। कृपया हमारी रक्षा करें। ।। ७-१०-५६ ।।
