विद्धामर्षाशयः साक्षात्सर्वलोकगुरुं प्रभुम् । भ्रातृहेति मृषादृष्टिस्त्वद्भक्ते मयि चाघवान् ॥ ७-१०-१६ ॥
He was unnecessarily angry at You, falsely thinking that You were the killer of his brother. Thus he directly blasphemed Your Lordship, the spiritual master of all living beings, and committed heavily ॥ 7-10-16 ॥

अनजान होने के कारण आप पर मिथ्या ही यह सोचकर क्रुद्ध थे कि आप उनके भाई को मारने वाले हैं। इस तरह उन्होंने समस्त जीवों के गुरु आपकी प्रत्यक्ष निन्दा की थी ॥ ७-१०-१६ ॥

तस्मात्पिता मे पूयेत दुरन्ताद्दुस्तरादघात् । पूतस्तेऽपाङ्गसन्दृष्टस्तदा कृपणवत्सल ॥ ७-१०-१७ ॥
Sinful activities directed against me, Your devotee. I wish that he be excused for these sinful activities. ॥ 7-10-17 ॥

आपको भक्त अर्थात् मेरे ऊपर जघन्य पातक किये थे। मेरी इच्छा है कि उन्हें इन पापों के लिए क्षमा कर दिया जाये। ॥ ७-१०-१७ ॥

श्रीभगवानुवाच त्रिःसप्तभिः पिता पूतः पितृभिः सह तेऽनघ । यत्साधोऽस्य गृहे जातो भवान् वै कुलपावनः ॥ ७-१०-१८ ॥
The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: My dear Prahlāda, O most pure, O great saintly person, your father has been purified, along with twenty-one forefathers in your family. Because you were born in this family, the entire dynasty has been purified. ॥ 7-10-18 ॥

भगवान् ने कहा : हे परम पवित्र, साधु पुरुष, तुम्हारे पिता तुम्हारे परिवार के इक्कीस पुरखों सहित पवित्र कर दिये गये हैं। चूँकि तुम इस परिवार में उत्पन्न हुए थे, अतएव सारा कुल पवित्र हो गया। ॥ ७-१०-१८ ॥

यत्र यत्र च मद्भक्ताः प्रशान्ताः समदर्शिनः । साधवः समुदाचारास्ते पूयन्त्यपि कीकटाः ॥ ७-१०-१९ ॥
Whenever and wherever there are peaceful, equipoised devotees who are well-behaved and decorated with all good qualities, that place and the dynasties there, even if condemned, are purified. ॥ 7-10-19 ॥

जहाँ कहीं भी सदाचारी तथा सद्गुणसम्पन्न, शान्त एवं समदर्शी भक्त होते हैं वह देश तथा परिवार भले ही गर्हित क्यों न हो, पवित्र हो जाते हैं। ॥ ७-१०-१९ ॥

सर्वात्मना न हिंसन्ति भूतग्रामेषु किञ्चन । उच्चावचेषु दैत्येन्द्र मद्भावेन गतस्पृहाः ॥ ७-१०-२० ॥
My dear Prahlāda, King of the Daityas, because of being attached to devotional service to Me, My devotee does not distinguish between lower and higher living entities. In all respects, he is never jealous of anyone. ॥ 7-10-20 ॥

हे दैत्यराज प्रह्लाद, मेरी भक्ति में अनुरक्त रहने के कारण मेरा भक्त उच्च तथा निम्न जीवों में भेद-भाव नहीं बरतता। सभी तरह से वह किसी से ईर्ष्या नहीं करता। ॥ ७-१०-२० ॥
