अथाजिघ्रन्मुहुर्मूर्ध्नि शीतैर्नयनवारिभिः । स्नापयामास तनयं जातोद्दाममनोरथः ॥ ४-९-४४ ॥

Reunion with Dhruva Mahārāja fulfilled King Uttānapāda’s long-cherished desire, and for this reason he smelled Dhruva’s head again and again and bathed him with torrents of very cold tears. ॥ 4-9-44 ॥

english translation

ध्रुव महाराज के मिलन से राजा उत्तानपाद की चिर-अभिलषित साध पूरी हुई, अत: उन्होंने बारम्बार ध्रुव का सिर सूँघा और अपने ठंडे अश्रुओं की धाराओं से उन्हें नहला दिया। ॥ ४-९-४४ ॥
