नारद उवाच राजन् किं ध्यायसे दीर्घं मुखेन परिशुष्यता । किं वा न रिष्यते कामो धर्मो वार्थेन संयुतः ॥ ४-८-६४ ॥
The great sage Nārada inquired: My dear King, your face appears to be withering up, and you look like you have been thinking of something for a very long time. Why is that? Have you been hampered in following your path of religious rites, economic development and sense gratification? ॥ 4-8-64 ॥

महर्षि नारद ने पूछा : हे राजन्, तुम्हारा मुख सूख रहा दिखता है और ऐसा लगता है कि तुम दीर्घकाल से कुछ सोचते रहे हो। ऐसा क्यों है? क्या तुम्हें धर्म, अर्थ तथा काम के मार्ग का पालन करने में कोई बाधा हुई है? ॥ ४-८-६४ ॥
