तरुणं रमणीयाङ्गमरुणोष्ठेक्षणाधरम् । प्रणताश्रयणं नृम्णं शरण्यं करुणार्णवम् ।। ४-८-४६ ।।

Nārada Muni continued: The Lord’s form is always youthful. Every limb and every part of His body is properly formed, free from defect. His eyes and lips are pinkish like the rising sun. He is always prepared to give shelter to the surrendered soul, and anyone so fortunate as to look upon Him feels all satisfaction. The Lord is always worthy to be the master of the surrendered soul, for He is the ocean of mercy. ।। 4-8-46 ।।

english translation

नारद मुनि ने आगे कहा : भगवान् का रूप सदैव युवावस्था में रहता है। उनके शरीर का अंग-प्रत्यंग सुगठित एवं दोषरहित है। उनके नेत्र तथा होंठ उदीयमान सूर्य की भाँति गुलाबी से हैं। वे शरणागतों को सदैव शरण देने वाले हैं और जिसे उनके दर्शन का अवसर मिलता है, वह सभी प्रकार से संतुष्ट हो जाता है। दया के सिन्धु होने के कारण भगवान् शरणागतों के स्वामी होने के योग्य हैं। ।। ४-८-४६ ।।

श्रीवत्साङ्कं घनश्यामं पुरुषं वनमालिनम् । शङ्खचक्रगदापद्मैरभिव्यक्तचतुर्भुजम् ।। ४-८-४७ ।।

The Lord is further described as having the mark of Śrīvatsa, or the sitting place of the goddess of fortune, and His bodily hue is deep bluish. The Lord is a person, He wears a garland of flowers, and He is eternally manifest with four hands, which hold [beginning from the lower left hand] a conchshell, wheel, club and lotus flower. ।। 4-8-47 ।।

english translation

भगवान् को श्रीवत्स चिह्न अथवा ऐश्वर्य की देवी का आसन धारण किये हुए बताया गया है। उनके शरीर का रंग गहरा नीला (श्याम) है। भगवान् पुरुष हैं, वे फूलों की माला पहनते हैं और वे चतुर्भुज रूप में (नीचेवाले बाएँ हाथ से आरम्भ करते हुए) शंख, चक्र, गदा तथा कमल पुष्प धारण किये हुए नित्य प्रकट होते हैं। ।। ४-८-४७ ।।

The entire body of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Vāsudeva, is decorated. He wears a valuable jeweled helmet, necklaces and bracelets, His neck is adorned with the Kaustubha jewel, and He is dressed in yellow silk garments. ‌।। 4-8-48 ।।

पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् वासुदेव का सारा शरीर आभूषित है। वे बहुमूल्य मणिमय मुकुट, हार तथा बाजूबन्द धारण किये हुए हैं। उनकी गर्दन कौस्तुभ मणि से अलंकृत है और वे पीत रेशमी वस्त्र धारण किये हैं। ।। ४-८-४८ ।।

The Lord is decorated with small golden bells around His waist, and His lotus feet are decorated with golden ankle bells. All His bodily features are very attractive and pleasing to the eyes. He is always peaceful, calm and quiet and very pleasing to the eyes and the mind. ।। 4-8-49 ।।

भगवान् का कटि-प्रदेश सोने की छोटी-छोटी घंटियों से अलंकृत है और उनके चरणकमल सुनहले नूपुरों से सुशोभित हैं। उनके सभी शारीरिक अंग अत्यन्त आकर्षक एवं नेत्रों को भाने वाले हैं। वे सदैव शान्त तथा मौन रहते हैं और नेत्रों तथा मन को अत्यधिक मोहनेवाले हैं। ।। ४-८-४९ ।।

Real yogīs meditate upon the transcendental form of the Lord as He stands on the whorl of the lotus of their hearts, the jewellike nails of His lotus feet glittering. ।। 4-8-50 ।।

वास्तविक योगी भगवान् के उस दिव्यरूप का ध्यान करते हैं जिसमें वे उनके हृदयरूपी कमल-पुंज में खड़े रहते हैं और उनके चरण-कमलों के मणितुल्य नाखून चमकते रहते हैं। ।। ४-८-५० ।।
