तत्तात गच्छ भद्रं ते यमुनायास्तटं शुचि । पुण्यं मधुवनं यत्र सान्निध्यं नित्यदा हरेः ।। ४-८-४२ ।।`

sanskrit

My dear boy, I therefore wish all good fortune for you. You should go to the bank of the Yamunā, where there is a virtuous forest named Madhuvana, and there be purified. Just by going there, one draws nearer to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who always lives there. ।। 4-8-42 ।।

english translation

हे बालक, तुम्हारा कल्याण हो। तुम यमुना के तट पर जाओ, जहाँ पर मधुवन नामक विख्यात जंगल है और वहीं पर पवित्र होओ। वहाँ जाने से ही मनुष्य वृन्दावनवासी भगवान् के निकट पहुँचता है। ।। ४-८-४२ ।।

tattAta gaccha bhadraM te yamunAyAstaTaM zuci | puNyaM madhuvanaM yatra sAnnidhyaM nityadA hareH || 4-8-42 ||`
