Srimad Bhagavatam
ततोऽतिकायस्तनुवा स्पृशन् दिवं सहस्रबाहुर्घनरुक् त्रिसूर्यदृक् । करालदंष्ट्रो ज्वलदग्निमूर्धजः कपालमाली विविधोद्यतायुधः ॥ ४-५-३ ॥
A fearful black demon as high as the sky and as bright as three suns combined was thereby created, his teeth very fearful and the hairs on his head like burning fire. He had thousands of arms, equipped with various weapons, and he was garlanded with the heads of men. ॥ 4-5-3 ॥
english translation
उससे आकाश के समान ऊँचा तथा तीन सूर्यों के सम्मिलित तेज के समान एक भयानक श्याम वर्ण का असुर उत्पन्न हुआ, जिसके दाँत अत्यन्त भयानक थे और उसके सिर के केश प्रज्ज्वलित अग्नि के समान लग रहे थे। उसके हजारों भुजाएँ थीं, जो अस्त्र-शस्त्रों से लैस थीं और उसने नरमुंडों की माला पहन रखी थी। ॥ ४-५-३ ॥
