Srimad Bhagavatam
उपयेमे वीर्यपणां वैदर्भीं मलयध्वजः । युधि निर्जित्य राजन्यान् पाण्ड्यः परपुरञ्जयः ॥ ४-२८-२९ ॥
It was fixed that Vaidarbhī, daughter of King Vidarbha, was to be married to a very powerful man, Malayadhvaja, an inhabitant of the Pāṇḍu country. After conquering other princes, he married the daughter of King Vidarbha. ॥ 4-28-29 ॥
english translation
यह निश्चय हुआ था कि राजा विदर्भ की कन्या वैदर्भी का विवाह अत्यन्त शक्तिशाली पुरुष मलयध्वज के साथ किया जाये जो पाण्डुदेश का रहने वाला था। उसने अन्य राजकुमारों को पराजित करके राजा विदर्भ की कन्या के साथ विवाह कर लिया। ॥ ४-२८-२९ ॥
