प्रबोधयति माविज्ञं व्युषिते शोककर्शिता । वर्त्मैतद्गृहमेधीयं वीरसूरपि नेष्यति ।। ४-२८-२० ।।

King Purañjana continued thinking how, when he was in a state of bewilderment, his wife would give him good counsel and how she would become aggrieved when he was away from home. Although she was the mother of so many sons and heroes, the King still feared that she would not be able to maintain the responsibility of household affairs. ।। 4-28-20 ।।

english translation

राजा पुरञ्जन सोचता रहा कि उसके मोहग्रस्त होने पर किस तरह उसकी पत्नी उसे अच्छी सलाह देती थी और उसके घर से बाहर चले जाने पर वह कितनी दुखी हो जाती थी। यद्यपि वह अनेक पुत्रों एवं वीरों की माता थी तो भी राजा को डर था कि वह गृहस्थी का भार नहीं ढो सकेगी। ।। ४-२८-२० ।।
