तस्यानया भगवतः परिकर्मशुद्धसत्त्वात्मनस्तदनुसंस्मरणानुपूर्त्या । ज्ञानं विरक्तिमदभून्निशितेन येन चिच्छेद संशयपदं निजजीवकोशम् ।। ४-२३-११ ।।

By regularly discharging devotional service, Pṛthu Mahārāja became transcendental in mind and could therefore constantly think of the lotus feet of the Lord. Because of this, he became completely detached and attained perfect knowledge by which he could transcend all doubt. Thus he was freed from the clutches of false ego and the material conception of life. ।। 4-23-11 ।।

english translation

निरन्तर भक्ति करते रहने से पृथु महाराज का मन शुद्ध हो गया, अत: वे भगवान् के चरणारविन्द का निरन्तर चिन्तन करने लगे। इससे वे पूरी तरह से विरक्त हो गये और पूर्णज्ञान प्राप्त करके समस्त संशयों से परे हो गये। इस तरह वे मिथ्या अहंकार तथा जीवन के भौतिक बोध से मुक्त हो गये। ।। ४-२३-११ ।।

tasyAnayA bhagavataH parikarmazuddhasattvAtmanastadanusaMsmaraNAnupUrtyA | jJAnaM viraktimadabhUnnizitena yena ciccheda saMzayapadaM nijajIvakozam || 4-23-11 ||
