न कामये नाथ तदप्यहं क्वचिन्न यत्र युष्मच्चरणाम्बुजासवः । महत्तमान्तर्हृदयान्मुखच्युतो विधत्स्व कर्णायुतमेष मे वरः ।। ४-२०-२४ ।।

sanskrit

My dear Lord, I therefore do not wish to have the benediction of merging into Your existence, a benediction in which there is no existence of the nectarean beverage of Your lotus feet. I want the benediction of at least one million ears, for thus I may be able to hear about the glories of Your lotus feet from the mouths of Your pure devotees. ।। 4-20-24 ।।

english translation

हे भगवान्, मैं आपसे तादात्म्य के वर की इच्छा नहीं करता, क्योंकि इसमें आपके चरण- कमलों का अमृत रस नहीं है। मैं तो दस लाख कान प्राप्त करने का वर माँगता हूँ जिससे मैं आपके शुद्ध भक्तों के मुखारविन्दों से आपके चरण-कमलों की महिमा का गान सुन सकूँ। ।। ४-२०-२४ ।।

na kAmaye nAtha tadapyahaM kvacinna yatra yuSmaccaraNAmbujAsavaH | mahattamAntarhRdayAnmukhacyuto vidhatsva karNAyutameSa me varaH || 4-20-24 ||
