मैत्रेय उवाच इति ब्रुवाणं नृपतिं गायका मुनिचोदिताः । तुष्टुवुस्तुष्टमनसस्तद्वागमृतसेवया ।। ४-१६-१ ।।

sanskrit

The great sage Maitreya continued: While King Pṛthu thus spoke, the humility of his nectarean speeches pleased the reciters very much. Then again they continued to praise the King highly with exalted prayers, as they had been instructed by the great sages. ।। 4-16-1 ।।

english translation

महर्षि मैत्रेय ने आगे कहा : जब राजा पृथु इस प्रकार विनम्रता से बोले, तो उनकी अमृत तुल्य वाणी से गायक अत्यधिक प्रसन्न हुए। तब वे पुन: ऋषियों द्वारा दिये गये आदेशों के अनुसार राजा की भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा करने लगे। ।। ४-१६-१ ।।
