तौ शुक्लकृष्णौ नवकञ्जलोचनौ चतुर्भुजौ रौरववल्कलाम्बरौ । पवित्रपाणी उपवीतकं त्रिवृत् कमण्डलुं दण्डमृजुं च वैणवम् ।। १२-८-३३ ।।

One of Them was of a whitish complexion, the other blackish, and They both had four arms. Their eyes resembled the petals of blooming lotuses, and They wore garments of black deerskin and bark, along with the three-stranded sacred thread. In Their hands, which were most purifying, They carried the mendicant’s waterpot, straight bamboo staff and lotus-seed prayer beads, ।। 12-8-33 ।।

english translation

उनमें से एक का रंग सफ़ेद था, दूसरे का रंग काला था, और उन दोनों की चार भुजाएँ थीं। उनकी आंखें खिले हुए कमल की पंखुड़ियों के समान थीं, और वे काली मृगछाल और छाल से बने वस्त्र और तीन धागे वाला पवित्र धागा पहनते थे। अपने हाथों में, जो सर्वाधिक पवित्र करने वाले थे, वे भिक्षुक का जलपात्र, सीधी बांस की छड़ी और कमल-बीज की प्रार्थना मालाएँ लिए हुए थे, ।। १२-८-३३ ।।
