तदा भूमेर्गन्धगुणं ग्रसन्त्याप उदप्लवे । ग्रस्तगन्धा तु पृथिवी प्रलयत्वाय कल्पते ।। १२-४-१४ ।।

sanskrit

As the entire universe is flooded, the water will rob the earth of its unique quality of fragrance, and the element earth, deprived of its distinguishing quality, will be dissolved. ।। 12-4-14 ।।

english translation

जैसे ही पूरा ब्रह्माण्ड जलमग्न हो जाएगा, पानी पृथ्वी से सुगंध के अनूठे गुण को छीन लेगा, और पृथ्वी तत्व अपने विशिष्ट गुण से वंचित होकर विलीन हो जाएगा। ।। १२-४-१४ ।।

tadA bhUmergandhaguNaM grasantyApa udaplave | grastagandhA tu pRthivI pralayatvAya kalpate || 12-4-14 ||
