मृषा गिरस्ता ह्यसतीरसत्कथा न कथ्यते यद्भगवानधोक्षजः । तदेव सत्यं तदु हैव मङ्गलं तदेव पुण्यं भगवद्गुणोदयम् ॥ १२-१२-४९ ॥
Words that do not describe the transcendental Personality of Godhead but instead deal with temporary matters are simply false and useless. Only those words that manifest the transcendental qualities of the Supreme Lord are actually truthful, auspicious and pious. ॥ 12-12-49 ॥

ऐसे शब्द जो भगवान के दिव्य व्यक्तित्व का वर्णन नहीं करते बल्कि अस्थायी मामलों से संबंधित होते हैं, वे बिल्कुल झूठे और बेकार हैं। केवल वही शब्द जो परमेश्वर के दिव्य गुणों को प्रकट करते हैं, वास्तव में सत्य, शुभ और पवित्र हैं। ॥ १२-१२-४९ ॥
