एको नारायणो देवः पूर्वसृष्टं स्वमायया । संहृत्य कालकलया कल्पान्त इदमीश्वरः । एक एवाद्वितीयोऽभूदात्माधारोऽखिलाश्रयः ।। ११-९-१६ ।।

The Lord of the universe, Nārāyaṇa, is the worshipable God of all living entities. Without extraneous assistance, the Lord creates this universe by His own potency, and at the time of annihilation the Lord destroys the universe through His personal expansion of time and withdraws all of the cosmos, including all the conditioned living entities, within Himself. Thus, His unlimited Self is the shelter and reservoir of all potencies. The subtle pradhāna, the basis of all cosmic manifestation, is conserved within the Lord and is in this way not different from Him. In the aftermath of annihilation the Lord stands alone. ।। 11-9-16 ।।

english translation

ब्रह्मांड के भगवान, नारायण, सभी जीवों के पूजनीय भगवान हैं। बाहरी सहायता के बिना, भगवान अपनी शक्ति से इस ब्रह्मांड की रचना करते हैं, और विनाश के समय भगवान अपने व्यक्तिगत समय के विस्तार के माध्यम से ब्रह्मांड को नष्ट कर देते हैं और सभी बद्ध जीवों सहित पूरे ब्रह्मांड को अपने भीतर वापस ले लेते हैं। इस प्रकार, उनकी असीमित आत्मा सभी शक्तियों का आश्रय और भंडार है। सूक्ष्म प्रधान, सभी ब्रह्मांडीय अभिव्यक्ति का आधार, भगवान के भीतर संरक्षित है और इस तरह से उनसे अलग नहीं है। प्रलय के बाद भगवान अकेले खड़े रहते हैं। ।। ११-९-१६ ।।
