तांस्तथैवावृतान् शिग्भिर्मृत्युग्रस्तान् विचेष्टतः । स्वयं च कृपणः शिक्षु पश्यन्नप्यबुधोऽपतत् ॥ ११-७-७१ ॥
As the father pigeon wretchedly stared at his poor children trapped in the net and on the verge of death, pathetically struggling to free themselves, his mind went blank, and thus he himself fell into the hunter’s net. ॥ 11-7-71 ॥

जैसे ही कबूतर पिता ने अपने गरीब बच्चों को जाल में फंसे और मौत के कगार पर देखा, दयनीय रूप से खुद को मुक्त करने के लिए संघर्ष करते हुए देखा, उसका दिमाग शून्य हो गया और इस तरह वह खुद शिकारी के जाल में फंस गया। ॥ ११-७-७१ ॥
