दोषबुद्ध्योभयातीतो निषेधान्न निवर्तते । गुणबुद्ध्या च विहितं न करोति यथार्भकः ॥ ११-७-११ ॥
One who has transcended material good and evil automatically acts in accordance with religious injunctions and avoids forbidden activities. The self-realized person does this spontaneously, like an innocent child, and not because he is thinking in terms of material good and evil. ॥ 11-7-11 ॥

जो व्यक्ति भौतिक अच्छाई और बुराई से परे हो गया है वह स्वचालित रूप से धार्मिक आदेशों के अनुसार कार्य करता है और निषिद्ध गतिविधियों से बचता है। आत्म-साक्षात्कारी व्यक्ति ऐसा अनायास ही करता है, एक मासूम बच्चे की तरह, इसलिए नहीं कि वह भौतिक अच्छाई और बुराई के बारे में सोच रहा है। ॥ ११-७-११ ॥
