नित्यार्तिदेन वित्तेन दुर्लभेनात्ममृत्युना । गृहापत्याप्तपशुभिः का प्रीतिः साधितैश्चलैः ।। ११-३-१९ ।।

Wealth is a perpetual source of distress, it is most difficult to acquire, and it is virtual death for the soul. What satisfaction does one actually gain from his wealth? Similarly, how can one gain ultimate or permanent happiness from one’s so-called home, children, relatives and domestic animals, which are all maintained by one’s hard-earned money? ।। 10-3-19 ।।

english translation

धन संकट का एक सतत स्रोत है, इसे प्राप्त करना सबसे कठिन है, और यह आत्मा के लिए आभासी मृत्यु है। किसी को अपने धन से वास्तव में क्या संतुष्टि मिलती है? इसी तरह, कोई अपने तथाकथित घर, बच्चों, रिश्तेदारों और घरेलू जानवरों से परम या स्थायी खुशी कैसे प्राप्त कर सकता है, जिनका भरण-पोषण उसकी मेहनत की कमाई से होता है? ।। ११-३-१९ ।।
