शोकहर्षभयक्रोधलोभमोहस्पृहादयः । अहङ्कारस्य दृश्यन्ते जन्ममृत्युश्च नात्मनः ॥ ११-२८-१५ ॥

Lamentation, elation, fear, anger, greed, confusion and hankering, as well as birth and death, are experiences of the false ego and not of the pure soul. ॥ 11-28-15 ॥

english translation

विलाप, प्रसन्नता, भय, क्रोध, लोभ, भ्रम और लालसा, साथ ही जन्म और मृत्यु, झूठे अहंकार के अनुभव हैं न कि शुद्ध आत्मा के। ॥ ११-२८-१५ ॥
