यथोपश्रयमाणस्य भगवन्तं विभावसुम् । शीतं भयं तमोऽप्येति साधून् संसेवतस्तथा ।। ११-२६-३१ ।।

sanskrit

Just as cold, fear and darkness are eradicated for one who has approached the sacrificial fire, so dullness, fear and ignorance are destroyed for one engaged in serving the devotees of the Lord. ।। 11-26-31 ।।

english translation

जिस प्रकार यज्ञ अग्नि के पास जाने वाले के लिए ठंड, भय और अंधकार नष्ट हो जाते हैं, उसी प्रकार भगवान के भक्तों की सेवा में लगे व्यक्ति के लिए नीरसता, भय और अज्ञान नष्ट हो जाते हैं। ।। ११-२६-३१ ।।

निमज्ज्योन्मज्जतां घोरे भवाब्धौ परमायणम् । सन्तो ब्रह्मविदः शान्ता नौर्दृढेवाप्सु मज्जताम् ।। ११-२६-३२ ।।

sanskrit

The devotees of the Lord, peacefully fixed in absolute knowledge, are the ultimate shelter for those who are repeatedly rising and falling within the fearful ocean of material life. Such devotees are just like a strong boat that comes to rescue persons who are at the point of drowning. ।। 11-26-32 ।।

english translation

पूर्ण ज्ञान में शांतिपूर्वक स्थित भगवान के भक्त, उन लोगों के लिए अंतिम आश्रय हैं जो भौतिक जीवन के भयानक सागर में बार-बार चढ़ते और गिरते हैं। ऐसे भक्त एक मजबूत नाव की तरह होते हैं जो डूबने वाले व्यक्ति को बचाने के लिए आते हैं। ।। ११-२६-३२ ।।

अन्नं हि प्राणिनां प्राण आर्तानां शरणं त्वहम् । धर्मो वित्तं नृणां प्रेत्य सन्तोऽर्वाग्बिभ्यतोऽरणम् ।। ११-२६-३३ ।।

sanskrit

Just as food is the life of all creatures, just as I am the ultimate shelter for the distressed, and just as religion is the wealth of those who are passing away from this world, so My devotees are the only refuge of persons fearful of falling into a miserable condition of life. ।। 11-26-33 ।।

english translation

जिस प्रकार अन्न सभी प्राणियों का जीवन है, जिस प्रकार मैं दुःखी लोगों का परम आश्रय हूँ, और जिस प्रकार धर्म इस संसार से मरने वालों का धन है, उसी प्रकार मेरे भक्त पतन से भयभीत व्यक्तियों के लिए एकमात्र आश्रय हैं। जीवन की दयनीय स्थिति में। ।। ११-२६-३३ ।।

सन्तो दिशन्ति चक्षूंषि बहिरर्कः समुत्थितः । देवता बान्धवाः सन्तः सन्त आत्माहमेव च ।। ११-२६-३४ ।।

sanskrit

My devotees bestow divine eyes, whereas the sun allows only external sight, and that only when it is risen in the sky. My devotees are one’s real worshipable deities and real family; they are one’s own self, and ultimately they are nondifferent from Me. ।। 11-26-34 ।।

english translation

मेरे भक्त दिव्य चक्षु प्रदान करते हैं, जबकि सूर्य केवल बाहरी दृष्टि की अनुमति देता है, और वह भी तभी जब वह आकाश में उग रहा हो। मेरे भक्त ही वास्तविक पूजनीय देवता और वास्तविक परिवार हैं; वे स्वयं ही हैं, और अंततः वे मुझसे भिन्न नहीं हैं। ।। ११-२६-३४ ।।

santo dizanti cakSUMSi bahirarkaH samutthitaH | devatA bAndhavAH santaH santa AtmAhameva ca || 11-26-34 ||

वैतसेनस्ततोऽप्येवमुर्वश्या लोकनिस्पृहः । मुक्तसङ्गो महीमेतामात्मारामश्चचार ह ।। ११-२६-३५ ।।

sanskrit

Thus losing his desire to be on the same planet as Urvaśī, Mahārāja Purūravā began to wander the earth free of all material association and completely satisfied within the self. ।। 11-26-35 ।।

english translation

इस प्रकार, उर्वशी के साथ एक ही ग्रह पर रहने की अपनी इच्छा खोकर, महाराज पुरुरवा सभी भौतिक संबंधों से मुक्त होकर और स्वयं के भीतर पूरी तरह से संतुष्ट होकर पृथ्वी पर भटकने लगे। ।। ११-२६-३५ ।।
