एते पञ्चदशानर्था ह्यर्थमूला मता नृणाम् । तस्मादनर्थमर्थाख्यं श्रेयोऽर्थी दूरतस्त्यजेत् ।। ११-२३-१९ ।।

sanskrit

Although these qualities are undesirable, men falsely ascribe value to them. One desiring to achieve the real benefit of life should therefore remain aloof from undesirable material wealth. ।। 11-23-19 ।।

english translation

हालाँकि ये गुण अवांछनीय हैं, फिर भी पुरुष इन्हें ग़लत महत्व देते हैं। इसलिए जीवन का वास्तविक लाभ प्राप्त करने की इच्छा रखने वाले व्यक्ति को अवांछनीय भौतिक संपदा से दूर रहना चाहिए। ।। ११-२३-१९ ।।
