तद्वत्षोडशसङ्ख्याने आत्मैव मन उच्यते । भूतेन्द्रियाणि पञ्चैव मन आत्मा त्रयोदश ।। ११-२२-२३ ।।

According to the calculation of sixteen elements, the only difference from the previous theory is that the soul is identified with the mind. If we think in terms of five physical elements, five senses, the mind, the individual soul and the Supreme Lord, there are thirteen elements. ।। 11-22-23 ।।

english translation

सोलह तत्वों की गणना के अनुसार, पिछले सिद्धांत से एकमात्र अंतर यह है कि आत्मा की पहचान मन से की जाती है। यदि हम पाँच भौतिक तत्वों, पाँच इंद्रियों, मन, व्यक्तिगत आत्मा और परमेश्वर के संदर्भ में सोचें, तो तेरह तत्व हैं। ।। ११-२२-२३ ।।
