तस्मान्मद्भक्तियुक्तस्य योगिनो वै मदात्मनः । न ज्ञानं न च वैराग्यं प्रायः श्रेयो भवेदिह ॥ ११-२०-३१ ॥
Therefore, for a devotee engaged in My loving service, with mind fixed on Me, the cultivation of knowledge and renunciation is generally not the means of achieving the highest perfection within this world. ॥ 11-20-31 ॥

इसलिए, मुझ पर ध्यान केंद्रित करके मेरी प्रेमपूर्ण सेवा में लगे एक भक्त के लिए, ज्ञान और त्याग की खेती आम तौर पर इस दुनिया के भीतर उच्चतम पूर्णता प्राप्त करने का साधन नहीं है। ॥ ११-२०-३१ ॥
