अग्निहोत्रं च दर्शश्च पूर्णमासश्च पूर्ववत् । चातुर्मास्यानि च मुनेराम्नातानि च नैगमैः ।। ११-१८-८ ।।

sanskrit

The vānaprastha should perform the agnihotra, darśa and paurṇamāsa sacrifices, as he did while in the gṛhastha-āśrama. He should also perform the vows and sacrifices of cāturmāsya, since all of these rituals are enjoined for the vānaprastha-āśrama by expert knowers of the Vedas. ।। 11-18-8 ।।

english translation

वानप्रस्थ को अग्निहोत्र, दर्श और पौर्णमास यज्ञ करना चाहिए, जैसा कि उसने गृहस्थ-आश्रम में किया था। उसे चातुर्मास्य व्रत और यज्ञ भी करने चाहिए, क्योंकि ये सभी अनुष्ठान वेदों के विशेषज्ञ ज्ञाताओं द्वारा वानप्रस्थ-आश्रम के लिए निर्धारित हैं। ।। ११-१८-८ ।।
