वस्तुनो यद्यनानात्वमात्मनः प्रश्न ईदृशः । कथं घटेत वो विप्रा वक्तुर्वा मे क आश्रयः ॥ ११-१३-२२ ॥
My dear brāhmaṇas, if, when asking Me who I am, you believe that I am also a jīva soul and that there is no ultimate difference between us — since all souls are ultimately one without individuality — then how is your question possible or appropriate? Ultimately, what is the real situation or resting place both of yourselves and of Me? ॥ 11-13-22 ॥

मेरे प्रिय ब्राह्मणों, अगर, मुझसे पूछते समय कि मैं कौन हूं, आप मानते हैं कि मैं भी एक जीव आत्मा हूं और हमारे बीच कोई अंतिम अंतर नहीं है - क्योंकि सभी आत्माएं अंततः व्यक्तित्व के बिना एक ही हैं - तो आपका प्रश्न कैसे संभव या उचित है? आख़िरकार, आपकी और मेरी वास्तविक स्थिति या विश्राम स्थल क्या है? ॥ ११-१३-२२ ॥
