यथानलः खेऽनिलबन्धुरूष्मा बलेन दारुण्यधिमथ्यमानः । अणुः प्रजातो हविषा समिध्यते तथैव मे व्यक्तिरियं हि वाणी ॥ ११-१२-१८ ॥
When sticks of kindling wood are vigorously rubbed together, heat is produced by contact with air, and a spark of fire appears. Once the fire is kindled, ghee is added and the fire blazes. Similarly, I become manifest in the sound vibration of the Vedas. ॥ 11-12-18 ॥

जब जलाने वाली लकड़ी की लकड़ियों को आपस में जोर से रगड़ा जाता है, तो हवा के संपर्क से गर्मी पैदा होती है और आग की चिंगारी प्रकट होती है। आग जलते ही उसमें घी डाला जाता है और आग भड़क उठती है। इसी प्रकार मैं वेदों के ध्वनि स्पंदन में प्रकट हो जाता हूँ। ॥ ११-१२-१८ ॥
