अथैषां कर्मकर्तॄणां भोक्तॄणां सुखदुःखयोः । नानात्वमथ नित्यत्वं लोककालागमात्मनाम् ।। ११-१०-१४ ।।

My dear Uddhava, I have thus explained to you perfect knowledge. There are philosophers, however, who challenge My conclusion. They state that the natural position of the living entity is to engage in fruitive activities, and they see him as the enjoyer of the happiness and unhappiness that accrue from his own work. ।। 11-10-14 ।।

english translation

मेरे प्रिय उद्धव, मैंने तुम्हें इस प्रकार उत्तम ज्ञान समझाया है। हालाँकि, ऐसे दार्शनिक भी हैं, जो मेरे निष्कर्ष को चुनौती देते हैं। वे कहते हैं कि जीव की प्राकृतिक स्थिति सकाम गतिविधियों में संलग्न होना है, और वे उसे अपने कर्मों से प्राप्त होने वाले सुख और दुःख के भोक्ता के रूप में देखते हैं। ।। ११-१०-१४ ।।
