वैशारदी सातिविशुद्धबुद्धिर्धुनोति मायां गुणसम्प्रसूताम् । गुणांश्च सन्दह्य यदात्ममेतत् स्वयं च शाम्यत्यसमिद्यथाग्निः ॥ ११-१०-१३ ॥
By submissively hearing from an expert spiritual master, the expert disciple develops pure knowledge, which repels the onslaught of material illusion arising from the three modes of material nature. Finally this pure knowledge itself ceases, just as fire ceases when the stock of fuel has been consumed. ॥ 11-10-13 ॥

एक विशेषज्ञ आध्यात्मिक गुरु से विनम्रतापूर्वक सुनने से, विशेषज्ञ शिष्य शुद्ध ज्ञान विकसित करता है, जो भौतिक प्रकृति के तीन गुणों से उत्पन्न होने वाले भौतिक भ्रम के हमले को रोकता है। अंततः यह शुद्ध ज्ञान स्वयं समाप्त हो जाता है, जैसे ईंधन का भण्डार समाप्त हो जाने पर आग भी समाप्त हो जाती है। ॥ ११-१०-१३ ॥
