उपमन्युरुवाच ॥ नशिवस्याणवो बंधः कार्यो मायेय एव वा ॥ प्राकृतो वाथ बोद्धा वा ह्यहंकारात्मकस्तथा ॥ १ ॥
Upamanyu said:— Either the atoms of Naśiva should be bound by illusory energy Whether he is ordinary or enlightened he is also egoistic.
english translation
upamanyuruvAca ॥ nazivasyANavo baMdhaH kAryo mAyeya eva vA ॥ prAkRto vAtha boddhA vA hyahaMkArAtmakastathA ॥ 1 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनैवास्य मानसो बंधो न चैत्तो नेंद्रियात्मकः ॥ न च तन्मात्रबंधो ऽपि भूतबंधो न कश्चन ॥ २ ॥
He is not bound by the mind or by the consciousness or by the senses There is no bondage to the self, nor is there any bondage to the beings.
english translation
naivAsya mAnaso baMdho na caitto neMdriyAtmakaH ॥ na ca tanmAtrabaMdho 'pi bhUtabaMdho na kazcana ॥ 2 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptन च कालः कला चैव न विद्या नियतिस्तथा ॥ न रागो न च विद्वेषः शंभोरमिततेजसः ॥ ३ ॥
To Śiva of unmeasured brilliance there is no Kāla or Kalā; no Vidyā or Niyati; neither lust nor hatred.
english translation
na ca kAlaH kalA caiva na vidyA niyatistathA ॥ na rAgo na ca vidveSaH zaMbhoramitatejasaH ॥ 3 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptन चास्त्यभिनिवेशो ऽस्य कुशला ऽकुशलान्यपि ॥ कर्माणि तद्विपाकश्च सुखदुःखे च तत्फले ॥ ४ ॥
He has no keen desire. He has neither happiness nor unhappiness; neither Karmans nor their after-effects; neither# pleasure nor misery as a result of those Karmans.
english translation
na cAstyabhinivezo 'sya kuzalA 'kuzalAnyapi ॥ karmANi tadvipAkazca sukhaduHkhe ca tatphale ॥ 4 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआशयैर्नापि संबन्धः संस्कारैः कर्मणामपि ॥ भोगैश्च भोगसंस्कारैः कालत्रितयगोचरैः ॥ ५ ॥
He has no connection with the seats of feelings nor with the impressions of actions. He has no contact with enjoyments of pleasures nor with their impressions of the three units of lime—past, present, future.
